Responsibilities
- Aging, Charge Posting, Denials, Appeals
- Check Patient Insurances for benefits
- Statements, Collecting Balances
- Misc. billing tasks
Experience
- Three recent years' experience required in all aspects of Medical Billing from start to finish. Scrubbing charges, insurance verification, posting payments electronic & manual, insurance collections, patient collections, appeals, etc.
- Must be proficient in working in a primary care setting and handling a heavy patient volume, must be comfortable with working with an EHR-preferably AdvancedMD
- Well organized multi-tasker, Must work well under pressure, be a sufficient problem solver and able to work a flexible schedule.
